What is Scoliosis?

Scoliosis is a condition in which the spine curves sideways rather than growing in a straight line. It most often develops during childhood or adolescence, particularly during growth spurts, but it can also be present in adults. Many people with scoliosis experience no pain or noticeable symptoms, while others may notice pain, uneven shoulders or hips, a visible curve in the back, or clothing that fits unevenly.

Diagnosis is usually made through a physical examination and confirmed with X-rays to measure the spinal curve. Treatment depends on the curve’s size and the patient’s age, ranging from regular monitoring in mild cases to bracing, exercise-based therapy, or surgery for more severe scoliosis. With appropriate care, most patients are able to remain active and live healthy lives.

6-week strength, Pilates and fitness plan with a set of exercises to suit your goals, current level of fitness and Scoliosis.

Where required, 2-3 day split programs will be provided to suit your unique body and goals.
